By accessing or using FileConv.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by an individual ("we," "us," or "our") and provided to you on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

FileConv.io provides online file conversion services, allowing users to convert files between various formats including:

• Documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX)
• Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, BMP, GIF)
• Video (MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV, WebM)
• Audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG)
• Archives (ZIP, RAR)

1. You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Service.
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
5. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

1. Upload files containing illegal content, malware, or viruses
2. Use the Service to infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
3. Attempt to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
4. Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without explicit API access
5. Upload files containing personal data of others without proper authorization
6. Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws
7. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
8. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

6. File Handling and Privacy

7. Billing and Subscriptions

1. Paid plans are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor.
2. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
3. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
4. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
5. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
6. Payment information is processed and stored by LemonSqueezy. We do not store your credit card details.

8. Intellectual Property

1. The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
2. You retain all rights to the files you upload to the Service.
3. By uploading files, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process and convert them as part of the Service.
4. This license terminates when your files are deleted from our servers (within 24 hours).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content of files you upload

1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
2. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service.
3. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
4. If you do not agree to modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.

1. The Service is operated from the United States.
2. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in all locations.
3. Accessing the Service from territories where its content is illegal is prohibited.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation or, if negotiation fails, binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
3. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
